THE LAND OF WATER
The Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management commissioned me to show, in about 20 images, the beauty and unique character of water in the Netherlands. I was free to choose my subjects, and together with a producer I went looking for remarkable places to illustrate the theme. For some photos I simply stayed in one spot and waited for the right moment.
The photos were used to illustrate the Netherlands National Water Plan and published in the accompanying book.
